Planet Pair

Planet Pair is a memory game built around matching pairs of planets across a clear three-phase round structure. Each round begins with 3 pairs, expands to 6 pairs in the second phase, and reaches 9 pairs in the final phase. That steady escalation gives the game a readable difficulty curve: early matches establish the pattern, while later phases demand stronger short-term memory and faster recall under the timer. The pairs and their positions are randomized in each phase, so repeated rounds cannot be solved by memorizing a fixed layout. Players need to read each fresh arrangement, hold visual information briefly, and choose matches with enough care to avoid wasting time. Simply rushing through selections is less reliable than using deliberate pacing, because the timer rewards speed only when it is paired with accurate recall. A useful approach is to mentally divide the board into smaller groups as new planet positions appear. Grouping pairs by visual similarity or nearby placement can reduce cognitive load and make the larger 9-pair phase easier to manage. Planet Pair keeps its challenge focused: remember the planets, adapt to the randomized layout, and complete each round faster as the phases grow more demanding.
